David Sanders is a professor of biology at Purdue University whose research focuses on the entry of retroviruses and other enveloped viruses into cells. Gene therapy shows great promise as an intervention in the chemical pathways responsible for aging. One of the main challenges in gene therapy research is the delivery of genetic material to particular cells. This is Professor Sanders' specialty.
